Every year we sponsor a sake night where the outpost supplies saki and Japanese bar snacks. This year Thaddeus and Morgan treated the outpost to a Japanese steak house type dinner which they cooked and served to the Outpost before the Sake party started. It was an incredible meal and very entertaining. Thaddeus made a giant grill to fit over the camp stove so he could cook for us like at a steak house where you sit around the chef as he cooks to order. Thad even learned many of the knife/grill tricks the chefs do and performed for us.

Sake Party - After the feast we had scheduled a Sake party to start at dusk. Right as the party started a storm of terrible proporations struck the camp tearing apart the Outpost kitchen.  We asked if people wanted to stay and fight the rain by partying and they all said yes. We took a smaller camp stove and put it on the table with the food and continued to serve food and sake till it was all gone.  We drank more sake this year with fewer people.  We also served the most kinds of Japanese bar snacks ever and thanks to Lynne also had some yummy sushi to serve.
